Welcome back! In the last video we talked about some tips on how to get your home sold. Today, I have a few more for you!
- Clean your carpets - If you have carpet or rugs in your room, bring in a professional cleaner. It will freshen the carpet and remove odors.
- Make sure everything works - It seems simple, but nothing is a bigger turn off to a buyer then when they try to turn on a light and it’s burnt out. Check your light switches, your outlets and light bulbs.
- Remove personal items from kitchens and bathrooms - In everyday living it’s normal to have toothbrushes on the counter or shampoo in the shower. When a buyer looks at your home, though, you want to remove those items. The same goes for the kitchen appliances.
- Clean or replace curtains and wall treatments - If the curtains are outdated, replace them. Make your home fresh!
